Note:
- This interpretation comes from an analysis of all images, scenes and cuts. I grouped the images by topic (who is shown) and by action (dialog, dreams, oberserving) and got 5 about equally long parts. Look at the jpg for some details.
- We have three parties: the robots, the machines and the twin / alter ego.
- The robot awakes and gets aware of its situation. It tries to communicate with the machines (to which she belongs) and gets no answere. So she creates an alter ego and dreams about love. She arises from being a machine. If the second robot exists, then "all is full of love". If it doesn´t exists and it's the robots alter ego then she is even more lonesome (in my dreams "all is full of love").
- So this video as a remake of the "mermaid" which is not at home in the sea, and neither in the human world.
Block A - "night"
- the "home" of the robot is introduced
- the robot sleeps (lies on the table)
- and awaks (opens his eyes)
Block 1 - "morning"
- the robot is awake and thinks about the world of the machines
- machines "care" about the robot all the time without any reaction or interaction of the robot
- she is the princess of the machines
Block 2 - "day"
- the robot is awake (sits passively)
- machines are working with (or at) robot (melting, etc)
- the robot seems sad and thoughtfully (looks down)
- starts to communicate with a machine (asks a question)
- the machine blinks once (no answere?)
- the robot looks down again
Block 3 - "evening"
- another robot (a twin? alter ego?) appears out of light, seems happy and motivated
- looks down at the robot and wants to help
- Image of the robot' s room (only shown here) which suggests a "bed" as the only interior
- a suggestion of the robots genitals
- close-up of the robot's face (instead of over shoulder view) as if the robots speaks the audience instead of the twin
- the genitals again, now wet with milky fluid
Block E "night"
- Both robots sit on the bed
- jump-cut towards them
- machines get active and "join" them
- light gets dark
- suggestion of parts being inserted
- suggestion of inner organs (cables)
- light gets very dark
- camera moves away into the dark world of technology from where it came in the beginning
Some questions I find interresting
- The colorscheme is mostly blue/white/dark with very high contrast, but sometimes it is getting into an overly saturated purple which I only recognized in the stills. Very wisely balanced.
- The editing doesn't work with the rhythm of the music. It counterparts...
- The cameraposition is chosen very precisely (looking up, down, observing).
